We love Stonewall Veterinary Clinic. We have been going to the vets there since we moved to Gainesville, VA about two years ago when our 13 years old Pekingese had a seizure. The emergency clinic in Vienna suggested that we contact Julie, one of the licensed technicians at Stonewall for follow-up treatments. We have never been treated better and have the utmost confidence in all of their veterinarians and technicians. All of the doctors we have used are wonderful as is everyone there -- Lauri Fauss, Katy Wilson and Nancy Barnett. All of the vets truly care for your animals and go the extra mile to do research when needed, work with specialists and recommend specialists as necessary. They are not quick to recommend unnecessary procedures -- they work with you and your animals' needs. This we know from first hand experience. They have worked with six of our pets and have seen us through the loss of 4 of them. The care and understanding from the vets and their wonderful staff has seen us through these difficult times and helped ease our pain.
The professionalism of their staff is outstanding. They go out of their way to make you and your pets feel welcome and special. They make every effort to get your appointments scheduled for your convenience, especially if an animal is sick. Having had 4 elderly animals that had lots of serious illnesses, we were frequent visitors to Stonewall. We were never disappointed in any way. Everyone, front staff, techs, groomers, vets are all wonderful caring people who have your animals' best interests at heart. I would, and have, recommended Stonewall Vet to everyone.

I was asked why I like Stonewall Veterinary Clinic and eveyone who works there. That was an easy question to answer. I'm probably not alone in what I look for in a vet. That is someone who is very knowledgeable and would have some of the same qualities I would look for when choosing a friend. You would expect courtesy and honesty but probably most important is consideration of your feelings when you are worrying or concerned about the health of the pet you love and is considered a part of your family. Your Vet's words carry a lot of weight because you know you can depend on their decisions. Their honesty invites trust. We sometimes listen to our Veterinarian more than our own personal medical doctor and will follow their instructions more closely. When I had to put my 14 yr old dog to sleep, the Veterinarian and friends at Stonewall Clinic cried with me so I wasn't alone in my sorrow. That means more than words can express. You couldn't find a more knowledgeable or warm hearted group of Veterinarians, technicians, receptionists, groomers, staff or any other person than those at Stonewall Veterinary Clinic. You can be sure.
