Practice Owners
Dr. Lauri Fauss, DVM
Dr. Fauss graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 1992.
She and her family have lived near Haymarket since 1993. Their "zoo" currently consists of two dogs, two cats, four horses, one llama, multiple aquariums of various fish, and a lizard!
Dr. Fauss started her career in equine anesthesia and moved to small animal (pets).
She enjoys the fast-paced hospital setting and has specific interest in geriatric medicine, diagnostic ultrasound and surgery.
Cheryl Collins, LVT
Cheryl completed her A. A. S. Veterinary Technology degree from the Northern Virginia Community College in May of 1997.
She worked for five years as an anesthesia and general technician in an AAHA accredited small animal facility in Leesburg. She developed a special interest in surgery and dentistry while employed in Leesburg.
In 2003 she opened Stonewall Veterinary Clinic in Gainesville with her business partner, Dr. Lauri Fauss. She currently manages the operations of the clinic and continues to exercise her LVT skills part-time.
She is a native of Northern Virginia and raised her three grown children in Leesburg and Round Hill (Loudoun County). She lives in Aldie with her two Shih Tzu's, Bailee and Mercedes.
Both partners have extensive experience working in fast-paced, top quality veterinary practices and collectively have over thirty years of veterinary practice experience.

Associate Veterinarians
Katy Wilson, DVM
Dr. Wilson graduated from Colorado State College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1992.
She and her husband, Dr. Dave Johnson, an equine dental specialist, moved to Virginia in 1998.
They live with their daughter, Reagan, and extended family (two terriers, one barn cat and several horses) in Upperville.
Dr.Wilson's veterinary experience has included pets, large and exotic animals. Her interests include diagnostic ultrasound, small animal medicine and surgery.
Nancy Barnett, DVM
Dr. Barnett grew up outside of Annapolis, MD. She did her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park and her veterinary degree at the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
After completing an equine internship in Lexington, KY she moved to Virginia. She and her husband live in Hume, VA.
Their pets include a black lab named Tillie, two corgis named Jethro and Percy and seven cats -- Ben, Momma, Mousie, Mango, Sylvester, Bond and Penny.
Dr. Barnett's veterinary experience has been varied -- from horses to dogs and cats. She especially enjoys surgery and lameness cases.
Elaine Kelly, DVM
Dr. Kelly, a 2004 graduate of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, joined the SVC team in May of 2006.
She and her husband are natives of Northern Virginia and live in Reston, VA. They share their home with four critters: Louie and Roscoe, the cats, and Spinner and Kokie, the dogs.
Dr. Kelly's interests include small animal medicine, surgery, behavior and geriatric medicine.
Olivia Schlichting, DVM
"Dr. Liv" graduated from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990.
She worked her way through veterinary school as a professional paramedic, then practiced small animal emergency medicine for 18 years before joining Stonewall Veterinary Clinic in early 2008.
Dr. Liv's husband , Kurt, is a patrol sergeant with the Fauquier County Sheriff's office. They live in Fauquier County with their 2 children, one very large Doberman Pinscher, a Shih-Tzu, 2 cats, 3 horses and several sheep.
Dr. Liv's interest is small animal medicine, preferably of a non-emergency nature (while she is very experienced and talented, 18 years was enough!).
Carolyn Olech, DVM
Dr.Olech, an alumna of California State Polytechnic University and a graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine of Western University in Southern California, joined the Stonewall Veterinary Clinic team in July 2010. She also performs duties as a Veterinary Medical Officer with the National Disaster Medical System.
Dr.Olech has a particular passion for small animal medicine and oncology, veterinary disaster medicine, and emerging and zoonotic disseases,
She lives in the Warrenton area with her two German Shepard Dogs and two Chihuahuas.
Licensed Technicians
Julie Eriksson, LVT
Julie completed her Veterinary Technology degree at the Northern Virginia Community College in 1997.
She has lived in Northern Virginia most of her life and grew up in the veterinary profession (her mother is a Licensed Veterinary Technician as well).
Julie's interests include radiology and anesthesia.
She enjoys training her border terrier in agility and obedience in her free time.
Margaret Fasceski, LVT
Margaret received her degree in Veterinary Technology from Northern Virginia Community College in 2001.
She started working with small animals in 1993.
She grew up and resides in Northern Virginia.
Prior to her Veterinary Technology degree Margaret received a B.S. in Biology from George Mason University.
Margaret's interests include dentistry and radiology.
Sally Pennington, LVT
Sally received her degree in Veterinary Technology from Northern Virginia Community College in May 2009 and began working at Stonewall Veterinary Clinic in May of 2011.
She has a strong backgound in shelter medicine and surgery and in small animal practice.
